Who We Are
As a small accounting firm in a rural community in Upstate New York, we build lasting relationships with local individuals, families and businesses and navigate the ever changing road of Income Taxes and Payroll Processing together. Our goal is to strategize with our Clients to reach their financial goals and maximize their financial benefits, while attempting to minimize their tax liability.
Daniela Holcomb
Tax Associate & Payroll specialist
Since 2018, Daniela has been an Associate with the DNA team as a registered tax preparer enrolled by the Internal Revenue Service and the State of New York. Having worked in the AgriTech field at Cornell University, Daniela has always had a passionate interest in agribusiness. Growing up in the Fingerlakes of New York State around dairy farms, crop farms, vineyards, orchards and equestrian facilities, she has developed a strong work ethic and appreciation for small business and farm owners. In her spare time she enjoys landscaping, cooking, film photography and international travel.
Syara Beam
Tax Associate
Syara has been with the DNA team since 2020 as a registered tax preparer enrolled by the Internal Revenue Service and the State of New York. Growing up in a small town in Ohio, Syara spent her childhood riding horses, playing around in cornfields, and picking freshly grown fruits. This childhood set a foundation to understanding farming life and agricultural businesses. As she pursued her Associate’s in accounting and became more educated through her work, it became obvious that tax preparation and bookkeeping were her strong suits. During Syara’s spare time, she enjoys hiking, dancing, and horseback riding with her husband and dog.
Meagan Engelgau
administrative support
Meagan grew up on a farm in Virginia, and now calls the family farm in Tennessee, home. Farm life is in her blood. Having worked with small businesses and agribusinesses for over 14 years, Meagan understands our clients needs. When she’s not answering the phone for Naples & Associates, you can find her enjoying the great outdoors with her husband and her two rescue dogs, and volunteering her time in Bible-education work.
Rebecca Santiago
Administrative support
After 12 years of working as a Licensed Massage Therapist, Rebecca shifted into a new role as a virtual assistant. She enjoys working behind the scenes and brings her organizational skills to the DNA team. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her friends and family, campfires, cooking delicious food, and engaging in her ministry.
Anna Elliott

With over 7 years of experience running her own business, Anna understands the challenges and unique needs of our clients. She currently resides in rural Tennessee on her family farm along with her sister and our very own Meagan! On her days off answering the phone for Naples & Associates, Anna enjoys cooking, hunting, traveling, and most importantly engaging in volunteer Bible-education work.
Daniel Naples
FOUNDER, Senior accountant
Daniel Naples & Associates, LLC was formed in 2015 by Daniel (Danny) Naples. Danny has been providing accounting and tax services to clients since 1978.
He grew up on a beef cattle farm in Cheshire, New York (between Canandaigua and Naples, New York). At the age of 10, Danny’s father taught him how to care for cash disbursement journals using the traditional green 13-column paper. By the age of 13, Danny learned how to prepare the farm’s S-Corporation tax return, and he’s been doing it ever since.
Over the last 38 years Danny has worked for several different CPA and accounting firms in addition to being Financial Manager for an architectural firm for 11 years, and a general construction company for 15 years. He eventually bought and sold the construction company, which lead him into starting his own businesses in advertising, retail safety equipment distribution and developing a number of commercial and residential rental properties in New York and Florida.
Most recently Danny worked as the manager of the tax department at the Farm Credit East Geneva branch office. By means of rigorous and detailed training and testing processes, he obtained Farm Credit East’s designations of Assistant Tax Specialist, Tax Specialist, and Payroll Tax Specialist.
Being very familiar with business operations in the farming, construction, retail sales, manufacturing, viniculture and other sectors, Daniel Naples & Associates, LLC has been able to provide valuable services to clients by raising excellence to a new level.
